Thought of the day! ---Via Text Usually---

I love my mom some of my friends from high school have lost their mothers for sicknesses. I could never go through that. I love you mom :)
On another note, gotta love going to bed early on a Saturday!! But I feel that I have successfully managed to stay up past 11 so I think I am safe to put on my jammies and sleep.
Today was an interesting day. Thats all I have to say.

Earthquakes, Power Outages, and Putting Your Make Up on in the Dark!

How to survive college without even trying!

1. When you are sitting in the living room and then all of a sudden the room starts to shake more then it ever has... then you realize its an earth quake... RUN TO THE DOOR FRAME!!!!
   

This is exactly what happened to me on Monday in Cedar. We had three? I only felt one! At 9:30 there was a 4.1 Magnitude then at like 1pm there was a 2.3 or something like that... and then at like 9 in the evening there was 3.7. I guess I just was not feeling them after the first one. That one was scary!

2. Wake up early so you can put on your make up just in case the power goes out!

This happened yesterday morning. I have classes at 8am on MWF and 8:30am on TR so I get ready when it is dark outside. BUT usually I have electricity. That was certainly not the case yesterday.

3. Make sure you have a buddy to hold a flashlight for you while you put on your makeup!

Haley had to hold a flash light at the right angle so that I could actually see what I was doing makeup wise. It just adds to your interesting week when you are walking after getting ready in the dark, like the majority of the city, and then you just get on campus and get a text from your other roommate says "power back on" and you just go "REALLY!!? WHY ARE THE FORCES AGAINST ME!"

4. Make sure you have really good people to help you through the week that I call Hell!

My Sisters are there for me all the way! I love them so much! From Earthquakes to Power outages, to bad news about family, to wearing you underwear inside out, and realizing your shirt is backwards... you can always count on them to be there with a flashlight guiding the way to a better day. As always Defy Gravity! Week one of school is not even over, two more classes... this should be interesting!

2010 Bucket List!

SO I know that I am NOT dying yet and things, but I am going to live 2010 as if I were going to die. I mean I am turning 21 in March and I will be an ADULT like only 3 more years and I have to get my own insurance. So I am going to live it up! I know this sounds super stupid, but the Sims 3 has wishes that they wanna do, and it has inspired me!

THINGS I WANNA DO

1. I wanna see a circus. I have ALWAYS wanted to do this!
2. Go on a random Vegas trip with the girls. When I turn 21 I can get into more things. I do not drink but ya know!
3. Read Alice In Wonderland, Little Women, and more classics.
4. Go see Phantom of the opera on stage now that I won't be 6 like I was last time and not get scared.
5. Get fit. This is one I struggle with BUT starting JANUARY 1st 2010 I am going to the gym AT LEAST 3 times a week. I just wanna get more men and they are attracted to fitter girls, and I am aware of this.
6. Get an amazing job in Cedar that will be amazing for my last two years there.
7. Get an EC position in Alpha Phi in the fall.
8. Get kissed. I am unfortunately 20 and never been kissed. BUT I do not wanna be a lip whore so this goes along with number nine.
9. Get my first boyfriend... like even if it is like a week or whatever.
10. Have a movie moment. This means having something happen that would only happen in the movies. This is cheesy but whatever.
    

2009 has been an okay year for me. I should have done more with my life. That is why I want 2010 to be the most epic year ever. I know my "bucket list" only has ten things on it, but these are what I REALLY wanna get accomplished. There is always room for more things to do and they will be blogged about. I just know these ten things can be done with hardly any effort, I just need to dedicate my time and DO IT! That is the biggest thing. The previous blog post talked about Defying Gravity... this is me going to Defy Gravity! And like always... YOU CANNOT BRING ME DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Defy Gravity!

Christmas time is coming upon us and I am so grateful for my little babies! Not just the ones pictured but for all of them. Priest, Preston, Cooper, Lenox, and Brielle. I just love them all, they make me smile inside! Tonight I went to the mall with my mom and Ash, Lisa, Ell, Kolbie, Lenox and Priest and I tried on this super cute pea coat that was PINK! I did not end up getting it because it was just fun to try it on. So I hung my purse on the hook and like five minutes later when I was in the downstairs part of Dillards, I realized I had left it there. It had my wallet and my mom's wallet. Oh goodness I must have some pretty legit angels watching my back, it was still there where I left it, everything inside. Dear Adriana, please stop being so ridiculously forgetful. Love, Yourself!

I fancy my parents a lot, I think they are the greatest role models a girl could have. My parents raised me well! I love you guys! Just thought I would tell you!

WICKED! You loved the music, you loved it more when you saw it in London.... well I am reading it now! I love it so far. It is so not like the musical, but it is fun to be singing the songs to the musical while reading. I did the same thing when I read the Phantom of the Opera! Gotta love being a super nerd!
It made me realize that I want to DEFY GRAVITY (one of the songs, I think I have it on my blog playlist). Next semester I want to get a 4.0 GPA and I am pretty sure I can score that with the classes I am taking, not that they are easy but they are in my major. I want to get skinny so I look AWESOME! I also just want to do more with my life. SO I am going to defy gravity and do it! END OF STORY!
Well that is all for now! I think the next one will be about... hmmm WHO KNOWS!!!!

Ode to the people who I see at chick-fil-a

Ha. Okay, so you know that website www.peopleofwalmart.com? I should make one called www.peopleofchickfila.com! I am serious! I could tell you stories just in a 9 1/2 hour shift! So I do not understand why you would want a piercing in your nose... you look like a bull! I do not understand! These two ladies came in with piercings and tattoos all over them! I REALLY do not get it! I mean lots of tattoos is... okay, piercings... okay... but both... not classy, you need them in moderation. I am sorry if you have them I am not pointing you out. Also its called a menu... just look at it I am sure you can find your way. BUT I do understand if you have a question like "What can I replace my fries with?" or "Can I replace my drink with a shake?". BUT "Can I have a chicken breakfast burrito?" at you know... 1pm... I am pretty sure the breakfast menu says "breakfast served till 10:30am". Now I am sorry if you are one of those people, I think it is just different behind the scenes. Its really opened my eyes so when I go to fast food I am not an idiotic customer haha. Also... speak MEDIUM! Please do not "YELL AT ME I CAN HEAR YOU" but do not talk like a mouse either. The speaker is right on my ear. That is all for now. Thank you for letting a 9 1/2 hours worth of frustration be said!

Things that I want, Things that I have, things that are things

So I miss Europe and I would love to go there again. I think when I am older and I have my career set, and all the debt from school is paid off, I will go back. I do not think I can predict the future but I know I can set goals for myself.
So we had roommate gift exchange on Sunday and I got the CUTEST purse and I just love it! Thank you KELLY CANNON!
On the other hand I only have one more final and I think that I can live. I am just ready to be home, with my family and making some money, however a job here in Cedar would be lovely. I do not know why the economy stinks, but it does. Well all is well. Till next time!

Finally!

Alpha Phi is my whole world. I am finally no longer the Chaplain in Alpha Phi but I am now the Junior rep MDC. I am sad that I am no longer the Chaplain but I am excited to start this new chapter in my life.

Finals are next week!!!!!!! AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only two though it should be fine. I will rock them. Although I am so nervous I may not pass Chemistry cause it is devilishly hard. BUT whatever! I am so ready for this semester to be over!!!!!

Thanksgiving was good but I am ready to go home for Christmas and work at the Chicken for three weeks and make some money!
