Thanksgiving and Christmas, And other amazing things!

I know, I know I am way late! But on November 21st I waiting in line in Cedar City Utah waiting for the premier of Twilight. Okay so the premiers are NOT as busy as Salt Lake. We got there at three and Kaily and I (pictured) were the last in line of about 6 people till like eight when about ten more people came. It wasn't until 30 minutes before they allowed us to go in, that everyone showed up. I felt dumb, but luckily there were girls there waiting since 10 in the morning, so I did not feel quite as dumb. Twilight was everything I thought it would be. I did not going in already hating it. I saw it a second time over Thanksgiving break with my best friend Alex and it was even better that time!

Thanksgiving was a great time, I got to go home and be with my family, what more could you ask for? I had some awesome moments with my family, but to describe the picture associate, this is me and my pledge sister Ali. Ali and I and about 6 other Alpha Phi's that lived in the Salt Lake valley went to dinner and went downtown to look at the temple square lights. They are sure beautiful! We had a lot of fun.

Christmas was a fun time as well, I mean it was just this past week or two. I got to work at my work Chick-fil-a which is a good thing because it means I got MONEY! Which is highly needed when you are a poor college student such as myself. I had fun too no worries, I got to hang out with Jana and Alex... well on different days but they are both my best friends!! For Christmas I got new hub caps because.... MY CAR GOT FIXED!!! (Pictures coming soon when it is washed and no snow is on it!) It got a new paint job, the bumper got fixed... so the hubcaps are the frosting on the cake!! I got a really cute new purse, and if you know me I LOVE purses! I got new business clothing for pin attire day. I got a grey skirt suit, a black dress, a red white and black dress which could be my dress for the red dress gala in February, I got an Alpha Phi ring and a New Alpha Phi zip up hoodie, I got new dress pants and a really cute dress shirt, socks which are always awesome, snow boots, my favorite scent THE BODY MIST by Victoria's secret, and I got Edward Cullen smelling lotion, Bella Swan smelling lotion and lip gloss, and Alice Cullen smelling Lipgloss.

So what are those you may ask? Well Stephanie Meyer in the Twilight books describes each character, and associated with them is a certain scent. YUM! They all smell so good, my cousin-in-law does them. She is awesome!

I loved Christmas and everything associated with it.

Alpha Phi News:

I am the new Chaplain for Alpha Phi. This means I get to be in charge (in a way) of all the special ceremonies, and I get to be the person who reads the rights into initiation. I would tell more, but you will just have to join to find out the rest!!!

The dreaded day I got rear ended.

So Yesterday September 15, 2008 I was at an intersection that is dreaded by EVERYONE that attends SUU or lives in Cedar City, and I was stopped to turn left to go to my apartment, and I hear the screeching of tires and then BANG I got rear ended. Scariest moment of my life. My first accident!! We pulled over and exchanged information. The girl's knee went out apparently and she could not hit the clutch! But she was going faster then she should have.
I am so blessed because the impact seemed harder then the damage was caused and there were no horrible injuries except for I am a little tiny bit sore today. My poor roommate was in the car with me! Thank goodness she was there... I might have said some words that are not proper!!
So all is well, we need to get an estimate on my car. But enjoy the pictures below of my bumper on my tank of a pontiac grand am 1991, the toughest vehicle in this city!

Back to School!!

Well it has been that time again where I head back to school! I am back at good old SUU and I am loving it! I am back to doing things with my sorority and we just got done with rush and took 34 new girls!!! Can you believe it? Well enjoy the pictures!

Working

Hey Everyone! I am home for the summer. I mostly just work at my job at Chick-fil-a. I quit there in May of 2007. When I was looking for a job for the summer my old manager gave me an offer, and so far she is the only person who has gotten back to me. I really enjoy it there, everyone gets along for the most part and we laugh and it just is a great place to be. I enjoy work to the most part. I am also wanting to possibly get a second job, but I am not sure. I've posted some pictures so go ahead and ENJOY!

Life

Life is stressful right now and that is all I can say! College is kicking my trash but we are almost done here. English is probably the most stressful, it is just essay after essay then re-do essay after essay because of all the little picky details. Welcome to college. Math is going a lot better this semester I must say. Considering I am retaking math 990 It is getting easier. I am kind of scared for 1010 but I feel better prepared for it now. Other then that this week is going crazy. I will update you if I happen to live through finals week!

Crazy Busy

Well everyone this has been a crazy first year of college for me, but I just wanted to let you all keep updated on me so far. Finals are coming up next week, and then I move back to Sandy, have two weeks of relaxation, then I start two classes at SLCC (Salt Lake Community College) and I need to get a job, or get my job back for the summer. Then I am going to be back at SUU (Southern Utah University). So keep updated here!
