Dr. King's Birthday

So I did not have a very good week last week. Monday I had some stuff happen and Friday my Stats teacher did not let me finish my test. So luckily Dr. King's birthday was this weekend. This is a wonderful day because it means I have NO CLASSES!!! So I came home for the weekend (which was needed after a stress full two first weeks of school) and got to have some fun with Alex and my Family. On Friday I got the fun opportunity to go to dinner and a movie with Alex... AS FRIENDS because that is all we are, and saw some people we both did not want to see. We went to Chuck A Rama of all the places, and then Alex felt like seeing Twilight. Totally his idea, so it was his second time seeing it and my third. Then on Saturday I went to the gym and then rented Get Smart and got my parents and I dinner from the Philadelphia, which is so good but artery clogging. I definitely need to go to the gym to work of that meal. Then on Sunday (today I guess Ha, ha) I went to church with my dad because my mom was sick, and then we came home and my grandpa and my mom and dad and I had Roast Beef Sandwiches. Then Hailey and the boys came over so I took these cute pictures! I love being home with my family. But tomorrow I head back to the books and studying and Alpha Phi. I did not get that job I applied for, but that is Cedar for you. I will keep looking for jobs as the semester continues to go on. Hopefully I don't end up finding one by the time I am ready to go. I mentor for Jill Wilks at the school and that will start again midterm, and then more frequently next semester. Greek week starts this week so I will have to write more about that. Anyway that is all for now!

New School Year... It Begins!

Ah... the smell of Cedar, The cold, the smell of texts books, the money draining out of my account, back with my friends, the syllabus, and even the wonderful sound of fellow students... yes it is school! School has started this week on January 5th. I am taking 16 credits: Statistics, Humanities, Communication Research, Interpersonal Communications, and Audio Productions (the radio). Even though this year is going to be hard with Alpha Phi, Credits, and possibly a job (which I applied for yesterday, I will write more about that on the 13th when I hear about it) my life is going to be a little hectic. But I like being busy. Unlike last semester when I only took 12. Bah never doing that again! Well if I do they will be harder classes then last semester. In this picture is my friend Kaily and I walking in the snow back to my car on the first day, which went wonderfully minus the snow thing.
Yesterday I went to my audio production class and I got my on air assignment. Every Wednesday from 2-3pm my friend (and Alpha Phi sister) are on Power 91... SUU's radio station. I believe you can stream it live from this website: Power 91.
Something else that comes around when school begins again is ALPHA PHI!! It is always wonderful to be back with my wonderful sisters again. On Monday we had our first chapter where we meet and have fun together. Last night we had Unity and went and watched our awesome sisters play volleyball in the tournament they have. Afterwords it was Lisa's birthday and we went to Ninja a sushi and japanese grill here in Cedar. It is awesome you get to watch the cooks make the food right in front of you. I would upload some images from that but right now it is not working so I will have to put those up later. Anyways till later--

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year!!! 2009 is going to be an awesome year. For New Years my family and I went to our home in St. George Utah and sang karaoke and had a lot of fun. ---->
My Nephews Preston and Cooper are not in this picture because sadly... the one year I would get two kisses at midnight, went to bed. It was a lot of fun. We went to mesquite nevada to meet up with my aunt connie and uncle gene and had dinner at the virgin river hotel and casino. It was a lot of fun.
I am sadly still not old enough to gamble even though it should not be that sad... but I took my nephews to the arcade and they had a ball. I got new seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats for my car while I was down there.
My battery has been acting up on my car, but today I got a new one, so I should never have to be jumped for a while.
I had a such a good break, but now it is on to school again. I am taking 16 credits! WOW!!!! Anyway this is all for now!!!
