My Epic Car Accident

Pictures will be posted as soon as I get some!

So me Ashley and Bri were just having a drive because its Cedar and sometimes that is all you can really do. So we went over by the hardware store over by Walmart and turned around. We were going through the intersection where there is Zions Bank, Panda, Cafe Rio, and the gas station. The light was GREEN and I was going STRAIGHT and this lady was turning left to go East and apparently "Did not See my car" even though my lights were on and, well my car is not that dark. She rammed into the front end of the car on my side, and I couldn't barely open the door. She then tried to do a hit and run... but that was an epic failure (witnesses said she was trying to hit and run but it was apparent that I got hit OBVIOUSLY) and she hit this car stopped at the red light going EAST and then they hit another car. Mine was the worst, the second car was not too bad, and the other one just got a bent front. So anyway, the cop told them to drive to the Panda Express Parking Lot and I got to ride in a Police car there with Ashley and Bri. We aren't hurt TOO badly just stiff and hurt on our backs from the impact. No ambulance was needed. Then AAA towed my poor little Pontiac, which is non functional and I have to get rides everywhere now. I came home and took 4 Ibprofen (spelling?) that were 200MG. I got food, and the assessment sent to my dad. So from 6:30-9:15 I was in the Panda parking lot. The lady did not have a valid License and did not even speak English, her daughter had to translate. The fourth vehicle had expired plates... or something. So we will see what happens.

ON A BRIGHT NOTE

I was nominated for Sigma Chi Sweetheart this last week, and I get an interview tomorrow, if this succeeds I could possibly get another one. So I am so nervous but I really want to be their Sweetheart, I love the men of this organization so much! Anyway the pain meds are kicken in and so is the Xanex. Oh man oh man I am sleepy! NIGHT!

Catching up is never fun!

Hi its me Adriana here just taking a little brain break! I know that this semester my classes aren't what some people would call difficult, but you still do stuff in them. So I sit here on our couch and I ponder about Advertising, so I can take my test tomorrow, and as I read a 'Dear Abbey' article. My catching up is really truthfully two assignments, so it is not like I am missed four days of Stats or anything. Which is always nice, which is probably why I was so smart to take the classes I am taking... some little voice told me to take this semester easy so I could relax a but more... and I guess for the passing of my Grandpa.
My grandpa's funeral was bittersweet. It was nice to see everyone, but I do not think I was ever ready to let him go. But I did and now he is dancing with my Grandma and watching The Price is Right in heaven controlling the television in his chair, with my grandma on his right, with my Aunt Cari who is baking them pies, and my cousin Marci who is telling him all about her journey.
At the actual grave sight he wanted a military service with the 21 gun salute and all that jazz. The funeral home tried so hard to find one for him and couldn't. BUT as we were following the hearse they were standing there with their guns, and a trumpet player, and a bagpipe player. It was so amazing. My mom started crying bless her heart, and then the funeral continued, everyone choked up... and it was just a sad but happy day. I loved my grandpa so much, He was my pal, I was his. I know though that he is forever watching over me until I get to see him again.
On another note while I was gone the Alpha Phi house TV was stolen. The jerk came through the side door, which was unlocked which means that someone forgot to lock it. Tsk Tsk. So we had the cops come, and it was CSI apparently. I came home to no TV, but its good cause I actually get stuff done in the living room.
Now I need to get back to homework but that is my life up until today.
Until next time....

Paul Willard Nielsen

To my best friend, who loved me so much, Grandpa you will be missed. You passed away today at 11:45 am, I know though that you are in heaven holding your sweetheart Beth. You are rejoicing with those who came before you. I know that when I die you will be there to greet me! I love you so much and I know that your spirit is forever with me.
Thank you for everything you did for me, thank you for your prayers, for the gas, and for teaching me how to ride a bike, and for you consistent love and watchful eye. Life will not be the same... at least this life, without you.

Hello - It is me! Adriana's Life July 2016- current!
