A Last Chance For Everything!

Wow... school starts tomorrow! What a LAME summer it has been... not gonna lie! As I sit here in my room contemplating life... I have an epiphany! TOMORROW IS MY LAST  FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AT SUU!!!!!! I am having all these crazy thoughts running through my head! It is my last chance to get a 4.0 here, my last chance to make Alpha Phi count (which I feel I always do!!!), last chance to do crazy undergraduate stuff! I want this semester to be so worthwhile!!! I honestly CANNOT wait to graduate, but at the same time I am sooo sad that it is the last semester to live it up!
My classes are all independent study and then there is mentoring and alpha phi! I think I am going to take an Institute class! On my mirror I have my last semester goals:

  • Get thin
  • 4.0
  • Go to church every sunday
  • LIVE IT UP!
I am going to hang out with people I usually wouldn't, try some new things to do... and other stuff... I dunno! All of it will be blogged!

Anyway I am gonna head out for the day, but I will talk to you later!
Until Next Time!!!

The List :-)

I am not a Mormon Novel fan, it seriously has to grasp my attention. I have read a few Jack Weyland novels in my time, but other than that... they just do not seem to strike my fancy! Well I went home a week ago and my mom has been dying to buy me this book, but the fact was, she never told me what it was! So I could not get it on my Kindle. We decided one day to go to Seagull Book and Tape in Salt Lake, and get it. She got it for me. Well this is the book:

Here is what the back says:

"Ashley Barrett doesn’t want to get married. At least, not anytime soon. She doesn’t care how many of her friends and family members and fellow churchgoers had weddings before they finished college — the last thing she needs in her fun-loving twenties is the dead-weight of some guy. And that’s why she created The List. By the time she completes all twenty-five goals — from learning a language to skydiving to perfecting the art of making sushi — she’ll be more ready to settle down. Maybe.
This summer in California is a prime time for Ashley to cross two items off the list: learn to surf (#13) and have a summer romance (#17). And Matt Gibson, the best surf instructor in Huntington Beach and the most wanted guy in the singles ward, is the perfect man for the job. Ashley hatches a plan to love him and leave him before heading off to grad school in the fall (#4, get a master’s degree). But when Matt decides he doesn’t like the “leaving” part, Ashley’s carefully laid plans are turned sideways. Now Ashley faces an unexpected dilemma: should she stick to the safety of The List, or risk everything for a love that may tie her down — or might set her free? "
OKAY so now you can probably guess where this "Mormon Novel" is going to go, and I can too. I am only barely in the middle of the book, but it seriously is one of the better Mormon Novels of my time. I have never been able to really relate to a character so much as this one. She has ambitions and does not want to get married... or so we think. So therefore she made a list to complete before she gets married.
It has inspired me to begin a list of my own to complete before I am married so this is what I have so far!
*My List*
  1. Make Life More Peaceful
  2. Enjoy Life More
  3. Get Thin
  4. Become More Spiritual
  5. Do Something Unexpected
  6. Finish the Book of Mormon
  7. Graduate from College (simple that is in December!)
That is my list for now, more can always be added!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway that is my thought for now! Until next time! :-)
