Dear Friends and Family,
What a year it has been for me. I am so grateful for each and everyone of you in my life. Some have brought me happiness and others have taught me important lessons about myself and who I want to be and not be.
I started this year off with really no idea of what would be next. I had just finished school with my Bachelors in Communication Studies and Public Relations. I kept looking for that one job that would make me feel like a star.
One fateful day my mom (who works at the Salt Lake Clinic for IHC) told me to apply for a job with her clinic for the Ears, Nose and Throat department. I applied, interviewed and got the job. Needless to say it was never my intention to stay as long as I have had, but it has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. I work with amazing people and love every minute that I do. We recently moved into our new clinic, and even though my job duties have slightly changed (adding check in to the mix, and working with eye), it is not so bad. I continue to look for more opportunities to grow in my career.
This year has brought sorrows and happiness, deaths and births, and true miracles. It has been a year that I have had to relocate myself and relearn who I am. I have always known where I wanted to go, and what I wanted to do, but this year has been a good chance to find myself again.
I have such great people in my life, and I also learned that not everyone is going to love you, not everyone is going to appreciate you, but in the end, you have to be true to yourself and even if it is not what other people like, it has to be for you.
Recently one of my decisions in my life has been to continue my education and go into my Masters of Business Administration at Western Governors University, which is an online school. So far things are going swimmingly.
This year has been truly fascinating, and hard in its own way. I hope that all my hard work will pay off and I can have another great year.
To you and your family, from myself, Merry Christmas... and a Happy New Year!
Love,
Adriana Steadman
