I.Am.Crafty.-Sometimes-

Sometimes I get this idea that I can be crafty like my sister-in-laws and friends. Well when I first got initiated in to Alpha Phi your big sis gives you a basket with things like a bell, a magnetic board and whatever else. Well my big gave me a cute magnetic board that is pink that has AOE on it. Well the board has been through about 5 moves in my time at school, and the A-O-E is falling off and the paint is chipped, and well it has seen better days. I tried to find a picture of it, but I did not, so when it gets done I will show before and after pics.

So anyway I thought that I would Mod Podge the board with some cute paper. This has been my intended summer project and well... I only have about a month left to do it. So yesterday Hailey and I were at Hobby Lobby (aka: the Costco of Crafts!) getting some stuff for Lisa's bridal shower, and well... I thought, heck let me look at the paper. So I found this booklet that has a ton of paper to make the board what I want to make it!

(Sorry about the ghetto pics haha!) Anyway so with the help of Hailey and whoever else wants to help me on the day I decide to do it, I am going to make my magnetic board cute again for my new room in Mandalay! We are going to mod podge the board with these papers and then sand it down and make it look cute. I will have to find cute magnets for it, I do not really want to make them because I will just find some cute ones as I go shopping or whatever! So pictured below are like 4 of the papers, there are more but the pictures sucked, cause I stupidly took them with my phone and not my camera!

This one is pink, dark pin, black, and white. I love the color scheme of pink black and white and like antique looking... I have decided finally.

I LOVE this one (above) cause it reminds me of my BFF Bri!

This one (above) is kinda brownish black I cannot determine.

I LOVED THIS ONE (above) it is what inspired me to buy the whole pack of paper!

So again I will definitely have to show BEFORE and AFTER when I get this thing done! Do not worry! I am so excited! I have never been excited about a craft EVER in my life hahahaha! Okay I lied, my little sister's magnetic board is pretty cute, she may hate it, but I liked it :)

Anyway now I am going to go clean my room cause I really need to do that and laundry and get ready to go to a TWILIGHT party! woo woo! I am going to see Eclipse with Hailey, Mom, and Lisa for Hailey's birthday. BUT before I am treating Hailey to a pedi and my mom is treating her to a mani! Oh man I am so stoked! I will take pics and blog about that later!

Drive thru etiquette.

I cannot change the world but I can inform it, and this goes for every drive through. Here are some simple rules of drive through resturaunts:

1. This is important: STAY OF YOUR CELL! It is very hard to take an order when you are saying "omg julie yeah... ohmygossshhh!" "Thank you for Choosing Chick-fil-a this is Adriana how may I serve you" "Oh my julie can you like hold of for like a sec cause like this lady is interrupting my phone call!... ohkay what did you say?" "How may I serve you" "I am good how are you!" "Good" "Okay I want a number one. Ok Hi julie sorry" "Okay what to drink" "Just the number one bye!" and then they drive off. If your call is so important to you, then don't get on your phone when you are in line. Wait till it is over.
2. You don't need to yell, and you don't need to whisper. And if you pronounce your words then I can serve you and I do not need to seem like the idiotic order taker who is like "What I am sorry" cause I am not an idiot, you just need to talk like a human being. Just like if we were to have a conversation face to face.
3. Leave your animal at home unless they are sedated. No barking dogs... the speaker picks up every high pitched or loud sound and it muffles out your voice.
4. Turn of your truck, jeep, or vehicle that sounds like it needs a new muffler... thank you!
   
   

Okay those are just some simple rules. Today I was on head set for 5 hours straight. It gets frustrating because I have people yelling in my left ear, and people on the speaker not following the above rules, so it makes it a little bit harder. I can usually block out the noise in my left ear, but if you would just follow the rules (and this goes even for mcdonalds) that would be great. If people could just follow these rules then there would not be any more stupid comedian jokes about it. Maybe I will make some jokes about the customers haha jk.

STORY! So today I was on headset and this story inspired this blog post: This lady gets in the drive through and I say my little "thank you for choosing..." etc. And then she drives away then backs up again.... so I do it again... then she just drives to the car that last took their order. So I do not have an order put in for this lady. So she gets to the window and her head is tilted with her son holding her cell phone to her ear! Susana who was in the drive through was like "Hi!" the lady goes "Did I order?" and Susana said "No ma'm" And she just laughed... and of course she orders like 4 shakes and 4 large cokes... and coke is fizzy and shakes take a little bit to make so they hold up the order.

Ugh. People not following direction lol. So anyway earlier today I was on outside orders and people kept passing me and screwing up the flow (because we have been doing two lanes where one person calls in an order and such... too hard to explain through text). So I am just sick of idiotic people. But it was one day, and this is my blog, so I can vent how I please lol!

So we got super cool new uniform shirts. A black shirt, with a little maroon strip on my shoulders and the back. BUT it is not ugly anymore! WOO!

Hi! Blogger hates me!

So yesterday I posted this huge post about all the things I wanted for next year. Blogger decided that it hated me and would not post it. I attempted several times. But All I can do is just tell you briefly. So I want to have a cute desk for my apartment, and I really hope I live with Maygen, she is so cool! Uhh and this bed spread (picture below). Uh maybe not this extreme, but I do want a new bed spread. But anyway I am going to go I meeting some of the Alpha Phi Alumnae for Dinner at Bucca Di Beppo. I will blog about that tomorrow!
