The First week of School, home sweet home.

Home sweet home, this is my new house! This is the Alpha Phi House, this is my new home. You Kind of got to see just my room from the previous pictures, but now you get a more in depth look into my life.

This is my secret closet of love. Whenever I get ready for a ceremony, I enter.

This is one of my roommates and sisters, Kelly. She is taking a picture with one of the many cats that invade this house. I do not know why they love our house so much, but they do.

These are the amazing letters our brother Fraternity Sigma Chi (Kye not Chee) gave us in the Spring. They are pretty much bomb.com and I love my backpack, its pretty neat!

Sometimes I like to hit my head when I go into the basement where my closet is and some of the other pics are. I had to clean it today so I felt it was safe to take pictures of. You just have to duck when you go down stairs.

This is the den, I wish the pic wasn't sideways but its really cute. You can study down there and log in hours from school and earn prizes!!!

This is the actual study room. My parents donated the desk on the left. We even have a bowl of suckers to suck on to keep your brain a running.

Now we are entering the kitchen area, its pretty tight, this is where I make easy mac for dinner, and cereal for breakfast.

This is the living room up a head and this is where we watch television and have movie nights. Bomb.

This is my shower. It may be small but it keeps me clean. Gotta love it. I share it with two other girls. More pics of them to come.

This is Kelly Cannon, she lives down the west side of the house. She was the only one home at the moment, but more pics to come.

This is my roomies side Haley. In the last post it was empty, but now our room is filled with love.

School is going okay so far. I am still waiting for my Chemistry book but I love my classes thus far. Ask me in a couple weeks when it gets more and more difficult. I found out the other day that I don't have chemistry labs till the 14 of September, it made me happy. I am taking Mission Prep and I love it, I love being more in tune with the spirit, its awesome. I am taking News Writing and so far so good. Another class is Chemistry and I like it Samha is funny. I was supposed to have Steffenson but he traded, but its cool cause Samha is my lab teacher too. I am taking Advanced Public Speaking and Nonverbal Communication on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Huett, he is a really cool professor, and sometimes pretty laid back. I just found out we don't need the assigned book in that class, too bad I bought it and its coming through in the mail. I will just re sell it, if I ever get it. I am mentoring two classes for Jill Wilks and I love it so much, but I do need another job. I am looking and sometimes I do not even know where to start. But the school year is coming along. First week is down... 12 more to go? I do not know. Until Next time...

The uneventful Last week and moving in!!

So this week was not very fun, I had mashed potatoes all the time and cannot to this day suck through a straw until Friday because of my wisdom teeth. It was a smooth process. But I am glad that it is over with. Well two days before I went back to school I decided it was a good idea to keep my chick-fil-a mug by my laptop, well Ashton accidentally knocked it over. Luckily Cameron is a genious and he figured out that it would never work, he may be able to save the hard drive, but I had to get a new one. It was in a deal at Best Buy where you got the lap top, a printer, and a case for 300 dollars, maybe 400, but its a pretty sweet deal. Its and Acer, here are some pics:

Home sweet Alpha Phi Home

So I am here at the Alpha Phi house it my own little corner of my shared room. It is still a work in progress because of course the roommie has to move in tomorrow (I guess today). It is going to be interesting seeing as I am new to the whole sharing a room thing, never had to do it growing up type of a thing. There may need to be some rearranging of course to accomidate for both of our needs for our stuff, but I am pretty sure this year is going to be good. I still have some straightening up to do, and some storage finding within the house. I hope that I can be a good roommate to the girls, but I am afraid that they are going to have pet peeves with me, and not love me like they did before. I am trying so hard to avoid conflict if possible, but if something goes wrong I do want to be able to address the issue. I have only been here since Friday and only me Kristy, Bri and Kalle (sometimes) are here at the moment. I truly just pray that every girl can get past their issues with the other girls and just know that we all need to get along in order to not want to kill each other. Well below is my friend Crystal from back at work in SLC and he is saying its time to say goodbye, so wish me luck, and love you all. until next time.

My three last weeks... JULY 24-AUGUST 1ST

So here are my last three weeks of summer before I go to Cedar to be with my friends and get my education on. For the last weekend we had the Twins and Brielle at our house while their parents were in Las Vegas for a family wedding. It was a lot of fun, little kids toys everywhere, and being awaken my Preston is always a joy! I also got some cavities filled, and I got some treasures. I got a new backpack, purse, shirt, and bed set... I will have to take pictures of those for the next post... but here are some pictures from this last week. The blog says something intense at the end so scroll on down!

God Bless America! and other adventures!

So Kaily came to Salt Lake and we had a good time going to go watch the fire works in South Jordan and they were canceled due to the major amounts of rain. But one night we decided to go take pictures and we went to this gas station to clean her windows on her Cadillac and there was a guy who was dressed like a pirate. He has a patch and a cane and asked us for money and we were freaked out so we were like "we do not have money" and he was like "oh I thought you two looked rich" and I was like "uh no!" so we left because he was creepy! And that is the other adventures part!

So the 4th of July has come and gone... and that means summer is officially halfway over, but hasn't really started until yesterday. More and more I want to go back to Cedar but yesterday made me not want to go back just yet. I mean I love going to school and being in Alpha Phi, but yesterday was the first time that I haven't been extremely bored out of my mind! Here are some pictures from yesterday's events!

The pictures of the helicopters are of active black hawks on duty, there is Lenox with my sunglasses on, and an old fire truck and an attempt at taking a picture of the motorcycle cops.
The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays and even though I spent it with only family, I would not have had it either way. Oh and my ankle might be sprained... but more to come on that.
I have also been hanging with some girls from work and its been fun we have been seeing movies and stuff and we had a work party at the drive in movies, sadly I did not take pictures. But everything is going well so far and I hope it continues on that way. Until next time...

Life at the present moment

Life at the present time...

I am not going to lie... life has been a little crazy since I have moved home for the summer. I mean there are always going to be restrictions and rules and you have to get used to living with mom and dad again. It is not always the easiest but we all learn to cope. Lately I have been thinking more and more about going on an LDS mission or going to study abroad or do something exciting with my life. I feel like I am missing a peace of adventure that I have yet to find. We never can truly know what that adventure may be. More and more people that I know are getting married or doing things that I sit back and think "boy they have a pretty exciting life". I just feel like I am in a constant standing motion. I feel like the world is going all around me and there is no pausing. I just stand there and watch the world go by, and for the first time in my life I have no clue what I am doing with my life. I know that going to school right now is a very important factor and I am so glad I am going, but then there are times I just want to sit down with the covers over my face so I cannot see the world anymore, and I usually do not feel this way EVER! I think once math is done I can focus more on the last two generals I need and then I am doing major free willy.

Statistical Data Misfunction!
Speaking of math I had to retake math 1040 again (statistics) which is no bueno but I mean, hey life is silly like that.

This picture is of me and my new Stats book for my class I am taking at SLCC (Salt Lake Community College). So far it has been pretty good, the teacher is hysterical and I have good feelings about where this class is going. As long as I do the homework and the reviews and everything he says, and do my best I can pass this class. He is NO whitelaw (my old stats teacher) who was like... well she wasn't an easy teacher... I will just put it at that. But I am going into day three tomorrow, but I know this class is going to be great!!!

Rain Rain GO AWAY! Come again ANOTHER DAY!

Oh man and when they say it rains... IT POURS! For the past 15 Days Salt Lake area has had massive amounts of rain and hail, and thunder, and lightening...and rain. So this is a picture of hail on my Sister-in-laws front porch.

This is the street. Almost flooded out by her house... boy oh boy!

This is hail outside my house.

And these are the twins seeing their first hail storm. "Nana I have never seen anything like this before" says Preston. "Yeah nana!" says Cooper. And I conquer with them. I have only lived 20 years but haven't seen anything like these rain/hail showers before. But ENOUGH!!! It is June almost July, we are sick of them!
In Conclusion
Life is a little hectic... a little mysterious. Stats is going well, and the rain won't stop.
Until next time....

Hello - It is me! Adriana's Life July 2016- current!
